Beach Photos
Mindy, Donna, Matt, Delores, David, Denise
From June 11 to June 18, 2005, I was at the beach
with my Aunt Mindy
and her church group. We stayed at Nags Head, NC. We visited
lighthouses, one of which was Cape Hatteras
We met Barney,
who knew how to have fun in the water. Delores
found a "hurt" bird, which ended up not being hurt, after all. Mindy
bought a lot of bread to feed her seagulls;
I decided seagulls were scary. Oregon Inlet
was beautiful. Mindy and I
visited the Elizabethan Gardens,
which had some beautiful flowers
.
We rode on a ferry
to get to Ocracoke Island and saw "The Lost Colony" one night. We were
on a quest to find wild horses, and we did see two
,
penned up, at a horse festival at Corolla. The Wright Brothers
Memorial
was neat. We also played miniature golf and watched movies. I
walked along the beach with Donna and Delores and found seashells, which we
later found a glass
to put them in at a thrift shop. I also bought a ceramic cat
at a thrift shop for a dollar. I had to draw some pictures.
Even teddy bears
enjoy the beach. The last morning we were there, we
all ate breakfast at Miller's. 'twas a good trip--wonderful people,
breath-taking scenery, great fun.
